    1. I loved your expression -“You have to exist as a witness to yourself and your deeds. Basically you are talking about the philosophy embedded in our religion – aatmnirishan and aatmsashatkar ( आत्मनिरीक्षण अौर आत्मसाक्षात्कार) . Thank you so much.

    2. Masoom bhai, that approach gives us an indifferent and detached outlook through which we could analyze our own actions. Perhaps that is the only path to self-improvement and progress. Depending on others’ feedback and opinion may not always be a wise decision.

      1. Yes Amit ji, You are right . We can’t please everyone around us. Instead, Its better to do introspection , as Masoom ji has written. Writing notes or maintaining diary is one of the best method of introspection.

  1. It is not right that we forgot Buddhism and the world accepted it. Buddhism had been popular in India too. However, it was mainly the exhaustive work of Adi Shankaracharya that led to its loss of popularity and practice here. It was not passive decay, instead an active one. Several tenets of Buddhism had been contradictory to Indian thought.

As for humans being the masterpiece of God, who says this? Humans themselves! I wonder if we could understand lions’ and peacocks’ languages, we would find that they also consider themselves as masterpieces 🙂

    1. Even if it was an active decay, all I mean to say is, although Buddhism has its roots in India, very few people in India practise Buddhism today. But there are a number of Buddhist countries such as Japan, China, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Bhutan etc. In these countries around 70-90% of population follow buddhism.
I respect your feeling of believing that each and every creation of God is masterpiece in their own ways. However, human beings are the most developed and unique, because of their intellect.
It was nice to hear your thoughts. Keep reading and posting 🙂

  3. Indeed. We human beings are the highest creation on the planet — at least from a mental evolutionary point of view – and yet we are the ones who are mostly responsible for the destruction of the planet! Just this one fact alone should make us rethink what wrongs we have been doing in our approach to life and living. And if we are sincere with ourselves – each individual on his/her level – can begin to do something to make things better for the planet, for the collective life. If only we learn to take responsibility for our choices!

    1. You have expressed the gist of my write up, Baloo 😀 Thank you buddy!! I believe, we have ample knowledge and intellect to understand exactly what is being truly human. “If only we learn to take responsibility for our choices “,- as you said.

  4. What do you mean by “supply “?
I just wanted to express that , almost all the religions are teaching us about humanity. This is our responsibility to follow them.
Thanks for appreciation and giving your views. 😊😊
